Falcons vs Eagles:The Regular Season matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles will give viewers a chance to see some stellar defense.

Falcons vs Eagles Live
In week two of the preseason we get to see a little more action from the starters. This means that someone like Kirk Cousins could get an extra series or two. Obviously, the Philadelphia Eagles will be extremely cautious in trying to avoid injury.

This game will be available on the NFL Network (TV) and the NFL Gamepass. You can also stream the game through a TV provider like DirecTV by logging in on the NFL’s main website. However, the Gamepass might be the most reliable streaming option, as it often has bugs. FuboTV also has every NFL preseason game with a free trial.
One big thing to watch this weekend is the Falcons wide receiver rotation. They seem to still be working out the depth chart with at least one starting spot up for grabs. Marqise Lee seems save as one starter with the competition coming in the slot and the other outside spot.

Keelan Cole should have an inside track as he was the team’s best receiver late last season. He’s someone with big-play ability while also capable of working the underneath routes.

DeDe Westbrook has drawn positive reviews during training camp and is someone who could work well out of the slot. Rookie D.J. Chark’s speed is something that can’t be matched by the other receivers on the roster. Jacksonville will absolutely want to take advantage of his skill set.

The Atlanta Falcons are in Minneapolis, Minnesota right now and are about to start Day 1 of joint practices against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Falcons will join their fellow we-were-one-game-away comFalcons ahead of a Week 4 preseason matchup. The practice starts late (3:45 PM what?) but that’s good for those of us who get all our work in for the morning and can watch the practice unfold via tweets, videos, and live analysis.

The Atlanta Falcons, led by quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones, meet the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, who will start backup quarterback Nick Foles in place of Carson Wentz, in an NFL Week 1 game on Thursday, September 6, 2018 (9/6/18) at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

For the Eagles, they are still waiting on star quarterback Carson Wentz to 100 percent recover from the torn ACL he suffered at the end of last year. Subsequently, Nick Foles — who did win this team a Super Bowl — will be the starting quarterback in Week 1. With Alshon Jeffery also out though, this Philly team might need to rely heavily on their defense to find success on Thursday.

Then there’s the Falcons, who are running it back with Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman and the generally same host of weapons. Perhaps the biggest addition, though, is rookie wide receiver Calvin Ridley. Pairing the first-round pick with Jones in the offense could make for a lethal duo. That is, of course, if Steve Sarkisian can coach the unit better than he did a season ago.

The Eagles will have Nick Foles under center as they did in the playoff matchup with Carson Wentz still out following knee surgery. Foles completed 23 of 30 passes and had 246 passing yards in the playoff win over the Falcons.

Ranking the field (odds)
Bryson DeChambeau (16-1): I don’t know why you would go with anyone else right now.
Tony Finau (20-1): The two hottest players on the PGA Tour are both going to be captain’s picks for the U.S. Ryder Cup team. Good luck, Europe.
Justin Rose (12-1): He won here in 2010 at the AT&T National and finished second last week. Converging trends.
Justin Thomas (14-1): Again, it comes back to trust for me. He didn’t have his best week last week, but he closed with a 65 and is taking a little momentum to Aronimink.
Dustin Johnson (9-1): Sure, I’ll put the No. 1 player in the world in my top five.
Brooks Koepka (14-1): Four straight top-12 finishes, and all of them came after his win at the U.S. Open.
Rory McIlroy (20-1): Played pretty well in Boston, but he didn’t strike the ball as well as he needs to.
Jordan Spieth (22-1): So much grinding from Spieth to close the year. It’s what makes him great.
Tiger Woods (20-1): I’m still waiting for the week where he puts every phase of the game together. He’s been elite in specific categories at times but not consistent in them all.
Hideki Matsuyama (25-1): I don’t totally believe in him yet just because he’s been down all year, but he’s certainly trending.
Patrick Cantlay (35-1): If Aronimink is the ball-striker’s paradise I’m being told it is, he’ll do well.
Rickie Fowler (22-1): I’m not totally sure what to do with him as he hasn’t played since the PGA Championship. Finished runner up last year at this tournament, albeit at a different course.
Kyle Stanley (66-1): I loved this call from Rob Bolton over at PGATour.com. Stanley should thrive here.
Francesco Molinari (28-1): See Cantlay and Stanley and enter the Open champ’s name.
Rafa Cabrera Bello (30-1): Hasn’t missed a cut since May and top 11 in three of his last four. I don’t know if he’s motivated by the Ryder Cup snub, but if he is then he should be great this week.
Field strength — A+: Rickie Fowler is back, which means that pretty much every star and superstar will be represented at one of the great courses in the playoff rota.

BMW Championship

BMW Championship 2018: On Thursday, the world of golf changes its focus to the Aronimink Golf Club, beginning the first stage of the FedEx Cup outside of Philadelphia.

After the BMW Championship, 70 players will be eliminated to 30 qualifiers for the Tour Tour Tour.

In addition to playing at the end of the season, there are some American players who will try to turn one of the last cases into the last player to be named to the Ryder Cup lineup in the United States.

Bryson Deshambo leads the FedEx Cup with one win, while Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Tony Viano and Justin Thomas finished in the top five.

Tiger Woods is one of many golfers looking to stay in the top 30, along with Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama, while Brandt Snedeker and Rafa Cabrera Bello are among the top 30 golfers. The tournament begins

5. Justin Thomas (3,084)

DeChambeau is looking for a third victory on Twai

The uniqueness of the four wins in Deshambo in the past two weeks.

He is 24 years old at the North Technology Championship and Dell Technologies Championship.

As a reward for his game, DeChambeau made great progress at the top of the FedEx Cup standings and was appointed to the USA team for the Ryder Cup on Tuesday.

Despite achieving more than expected during the first and second stages of the FedEx Cup, DeChambeau has not yet been able to win the title.

What he did was put himself in the qualifying race as the No. 1 player in the FedEx Cup qualifiers, which comes with a feature even after the remaining 30 players were replaced in points after Sunday.

With more than 2,300 points in the standings, DeChambeau can take on more risk as it moves through its third consecutive title.

With the exception of a full drop in shape, the 24-year-old will qualify for the race, and with a seat in the Rider Cup already available, DeChambeau should play at the lowest pressure of any BMW golfer.

What will rival Rider Cup in BMW?

Still a place in the USA team in the Ryder Cup still plays after summoning captain Jim Forks Deshambo Woods and Phil Mickelson on Tuesday.

With a last chance to impress Furek this weekend, players like Vinau and Kevin Kessner will play more than just a title.

Vinau, who ranks fourth in the FedEx Cup rankings, seems to be favorites to win 12th and final place with his approach in 2018.
